PATRICIA HSU
Patricia has received many first place and high honor awards from the NJ Music Teachers Association, Steinway Society Scholarship Competition, The Young Pianist Competition of NJ, the Music Educators Association of NJ, the Piano Teachers Congress of NY, the Cecilian Music Club of Freehold, the Young People’s Music Program CACA competition, the Joseph Bookstaber Piano Competition, and the Chiang Wen Yeh International Young Artist Piano Competition.
She was also featured in the 2005, 2007, 2008 Crescent Concerts showcase for Exceptional Young Musicians and the 2006 Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church Young Artists Recital. She has performed at Weill Recital Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Steinway Hall, John F. Kennedy Center, and Cami Hall in New York City. She was invited to perform in a master class with acclaimed Grammy-award winner Yefim Bronfman in 2006, Robert McDonald in 2008, and Anne Schein in 2008. In 2009 she was awarded first prize at the New Jersey Music Teachers Association Young Artists Competition. Patricia served as a member of her award-winning school symphony orchestra.
