EILEEN HUANG

Eileen Huang was a student of Dr. Lam from 1991 to 1996. During that time, she was a first prize winner of the NJMEA, NJMTA, Somerset County Library, and Steinway Society piano competitions; a winner of the Battleground Arts Center Symphony Orchestra and NJMTA concerto competitions; and a two-time, second prize winner of the Chiang Wen-Yeh International Piano Competition. Ms. Huang is also an alumna of the Juilliard School Pre-College Division and the Aspen Music Festival and School, where she studied with the late Herbert Stessin. A frequent collaborator with the Boston-area’s finest instrumentalists and vocalists, Ms. Huang has performed at the Rockport Chamber Music Festival and Tanglewood Music Festival. She teaches on the music faculty at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she is a piano instructor, collaborative pianist, and co¬¬ach. Also an accomplished soprano, Ms. Huang has appeared as soloist with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, Wellesley Choral Society, and Nahant Music Festival.
